RightNow maintains an opt-in policy in regard to its marketing mailings. We only send email to individuals who have requested that these mailings be sent to them, or as part of an ongoing relationship we have with an individual or business.
Your right to control what mailings, if any, you receive from RightNow is important to us. The information below will assist you in understanding the different mailing options you have, and how you can notify us of changes in the mailings you wish to receive or to unsubscribe in general.

RightNow customers using its hosting facilities for their CRM solution can subscribe to receive notifications regarding upcoming maintenance of the hosting facilities which may impact their hosted CRM software. If you are a RightNow hosted customer, you can request these hosting announcements.
Site status update notifications
RightNow customers using out hosting facilities for their CRM solution can subscribe to be notified of any outages or loss of service in its hosted facilities and to clarify root cause and solution to these issues. If you are a RightNow hosted customer, you can request these hosting updates.

Proactive support and technical notifications
At times RightNow customer service department notifies affected customers of means of optimizing product usage or potential product issues. Clients of RightNow can opt-in to receive these service announcements.
New software release notifications
RightNow customer service department notifies interested customers of new product release availability. Clients of RightNow can opt-in to receive these service announcements.
Marketing Mailings and Newsletters
Periodic notifications on best practices and resources
RightNow maintains a list of contacts who have expressed an interest in receiving periodic announcements and updates about CRM and CRM solutions, as well as marketing and product information from RightNow. If you are interested in receiving this information, you may subscribe.
Insider newsletter
The RightNow Insider is an email newsletter RightNow sends to its clients and partners. If you are a client or partner of RightNow, you may subscribe to the Insider newsletter if you wish to receive it.
Periodic partner communications
RightNow periodically communicates to its partners via email to keep partners abreast of new developments at RightNow. If you are an authorized partner of RightNow, you may subscribe to receive Periodic partner communications.
Survey and Feedback Invitations
RightNow periodically sends surveys to collect feedback from our partners, our customers, and other contacts in our system. We gather information on a wide variety of subjects in order to better understand the wants and needs of our customers and partners. RightNow investor announcements
Shareholder.com sends out periodic announcements including financial information, upcoming event announcements and press releases to individuals who have requested this information. You may subscribe to receive investor updates here.
Answer update notifications
Visitors to the RightNow pre-sales support site, investor FAQ, or RightNow clients visiting its customer support site can request automated notification when specific answers are updated. You may choose to receive these notifications when viewing the answer you would like to receive notification about.
Site upgrade notifications
When a technical contact requests that a site be upgraded, key support contacts in that organization will be notified of the upgrade, the creation of the test sites, and the upgrade schedule.
Transactional emails
RightNow typically sends an automated email confirmation when a form is completed requesting information from RightNow.
Customer support incidents and responses
Responses to customer support or pre-sales support requests are handled through email.
Customer and partner communications
As a RightNow client or partner, you can update your mailing preferences at any time by visiting RightNow's client and partner mailing preferences page or by updating your email preferences under "My Profile" in our customer support area, or by following either of the convenient links located at the bottom of any email from RightNow. Requests submitted through one of these methods are processed and effective immediately.
In addition, you may email a request to rm@rightnow.com or reply to any email from RightNow requesting that your address be unsubscribed. Please be aware that unsubscribe requests submitted this way will take longer to process and may not be effective immediately.
Non-customer communications
As a web site visitor who has requested that we send you email updates, you can update your subscription preferences or unsubscribe through RightNow's opt-in/opt-out page. Unsubscribe requests submitted through this form are processed and effective immediately.
In addition, you may email a request to rm@rightnow.com or reply to any email from RightNow requesting that your address be unsubscribed. Please be aware that unsubscribe requests submitted this way will take longer to process and may not be effective immediately.
RightNow investor announcements
If you have subscribed to receive investor announcements related to RightNow from Shareholder.com, you can unsubscribe or update your investor subscription preferences through the investor relations portion of this site.
Answer update notifications
You can unsubscribe from your answer notifications through the "My Stuff" section of the support site where you subscribed to the answer.
Site upgrade notifications
You will only receive these messages if you have an active support login as a key support contact and your site is scheduled by a member of your staff (or at your request) to be upgraded. If you should not have access to the RightNow support site, you can have your access removed or your support contact type through "Contact Management" under "My Stuff" in the RightNow support site.
Transactional emails
You will only receive transactional emails from RightNow when you request information. There is no need to unsubscribe from these one-time mailings.
Customer support incidents and responses
You will only receive these email responses in reply to specific support requests, or in response to technical issues detected by RightNow's proactive monitoring. There is no need to unsubscribe from these interactive mailings.
Occasionally, RightNow may contract with a third party to communicate on RightNow's behalf to the third party's contacts. We do not collect your email address or contact information from this third party, and we do not have access to their mailing list.
Depending on the nature of the third party mailing, we may, in order to comply with applicable laws, provide the third party with a suppression list of contacts to exclude from their list. The third party does not have permission to keep or market to this list, or to use it in any way other than as a suppression list for a mailing they are providing on RightNow's behalf.
